Loyalty to friends over family

I personally do not think that loyalty to a friend is more important to loyalty over family. Friends will always come and go but your family is your safety net. You will always have your family no matter what. Sure you will argue just like everybody does but your family will always have your back no matter what the circumstances are. They would always take a bullet for you. That is who you should be loyal to over a friend. I understand that you can have a friend that is like family to you and I honestly think that you could probably count that as family, but you never know if that friend is going to back stab you, or maybe even just drop you. There is no guarantee for them to be there when times get really hard for you. Family will always be there. Through the rough times and the bad. They mostly will always look out for your best interest and never intentionally try to steer you in the wrong path. Some friends as fake friends will purposely want you to mess up just so they can look better. Never fully trust anybody except for your family, you never really know who somebody is.

Connotations of Geeks

Everybody sees a geek as a person who only cares about school. A person who makes really good grades and does not have any friends. Most people see a geek as someone who has glasses, talks differently then others, and wears weird type of clothing. A geek is somebody that everyone can take advantage of to copy off their paper when they want a better grade and then never talk to them again after that. This type of person is not popular, nor involved in any type of sport. Usually the stereotype of a geek would be someone in the chest club, or the math elite. Anything along these types. A kid that was a geek in high school tends to never be cool. As they get older they seem to have way better lives then someone who was not a geek in high school. Since they spent all their time focusing on school instead of going to parties they have better careers then the others. I think the better way to go would to be some form of a geek in high school or even college because it will better your future.

Joining Cults

Some people tend to join cults because they like to feel like they fit in. Most of these kinds of people are outsiders. They have no guidance and they search for that in a cult. Many people doing this like to have a leader or leaders. They do not have an originality about them. These people have no idea who they are and are able to be brainwashed into thinking they are someone that they are not. Cults are a group who follow one or more leaders. All of them go by certain rules and do certain things. Some of these cults even have sacrifices depending on which one it is. Most of these people are made to believe in certain things that there leader wants them to believe. These leaders have the ability to control people in a way that none of us could ever begin to understand. People in these cults have extreme loyalty and devotion to the cult. Many individuals go to this for identity, and friendship. This helps give them meaning to them living.

Different Motivations

Mike Vare says he runs simply so he can eat more. Different people have different motivations for the activities that they do. Many of my activities I do I enjoy. I do not do any of the activities just to eat more or just to do them. Most people I know do not do things for those reasons. They do them because they enjoy them, it makes them happy, or it is really their passion. Being a cheerleader was always my activity. I enjoyed it more then anything on the planet. It made me feel like a completely different person, and made me feel like I was on top of the world. Not everybody has to have the same reason why they do what they do. If it makes them happy, or they want to do it for a specific reason then by all means do what they want to do. Even though I think the reason he is running is not a really good reason, but he's doing it because he wants to so just let him do it.

This Habit irritates me

I absolutely hate it when someone does not know how to chew with their mouth closed. Personally I think that anyone should learn those manners when they were young from their parents. It is just very gross when I am sitting at the dinner table, in a restaurant, or just walking around and somebody is chomping on their food with their mouth open like there is no care in the world. I think anyone should have the respect for others whom may be looking at them to chew with their mouth closed. In my own opinion I think it's a hygiene situation also. If someone does not eat neatly or any sort of thing like that I immediately get the vibe that they do not have good hygiene. This manner will be one of the first things I teach my kids when they are young. As well as keeping their elbows off the table and so on. The dinner table or any other kind of eating place should be one of the main places you have good manners and act mature. Therefore, control yourself and your kids when you are at home or at a restaurant and have good table etiquette.
Other table habits that people have also irritate me. Maybe I am just the type of person to think that everyone has good table habits. I was raised to learn all of these habits as I have mentioned before. Since i was raised knowing all of this I guess my brain is wired that everyone should learn it also. Chewing with your mouth open or even somebody smacking their food gets to me also. I just think it is all so annoying, and should be fixed as soon as possible. I honestly have got up and walked away from a table with someone that did not have good table manners. I just can't sit there and watch it. All of it makes me sick to my stomach and I will not stand for it.
